Hebron Limited Openings in KinderRHAMa

There are openings for children ages 3 and 4 in the KinderRHAMa preschool program, held at RHAM High School, 85 Wall St, Hebron. This program is sponsored by AHM Youth Services and RHAM High School, and is for children ages 3-4 from the towns of Andover, Hebron and Marlborough. The program is held for 10 months, September through June, and follows the school calender of holidays, The 2 day a week program is $95/month and the 3 day a week program is $143/month. parents are responsible for transportation. Colchester Clam Bake

The Colchester Fish & Game Club will hold its annual Clam Bake, Sat Aug 23 starting about noon at the club. There will be clam chowder, steamers, hamburgers and hot dogs all day. There will also be plenty of games including volleyball, horseshoes and activities for the kids. This picnic is open to the public-all are welcome. Dinner Will be served at about 5:30 pm and includes a choice of steak or lobster with boiled red potatoes, corn on the cob, salad and more. Colchester Chicken BBQ!

On Sunday Aug 17 from 3:30-6:30 pm the Ahavath Achim Synagogue on Lebanon Ave in Colchester, will hold a Chicken BBQ. This complete chicken dinner includes half a kosher chicken, a baked potato, cole slaw, a roll and dessert for $10. The BBQ chicken is prepared with the same "secret" marinade that has been used for the past 40 years. The public is welcome to either eat in the synagogue hall, pick up their dinners at the drive through (in the rear of the building) or have their dinner delivered. Call 537-2809 to reserve dinners, or for in town delivery. Soda or bottled water is available for $1. Free coffee is available for those dining in the social hall.

Breakfast Is Back in East Hampton

A breakfast will be held at Fowler-Dix-Park VFW Post 5095 located at 20 North Maple St, East Hampton, CT on Sunday Aug 17 from 8-11am. Breakfast consists of eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fires, toast, coffee, juice & fruit. Cost is $6 per person and all are welcome to attend. East Hampton Soccer Club Store Open

The East Hampton Soccer Club Store is officially open for business.he club store resides withing the camp store at Nelson's Family Campground on Mott Hill Rd, East Hampton, CT. Store inventory includes sweatshirts, soccer mom T shirts, car magnets and soccer socks. Samples are on display with additional items available on request. Store hours are Sunday-Thursday 9am-7pm and Friday-Saturday until 10pm. Proceeds from Team Store sales support East Hampton Soccer Club programs including: scholarships, field improvements and maintenance, and coaching education.
