I have been contacted by the local pantry to organize a Food-Fuel of Life Drive. Given the position of Keller Williams Cultural Chairperson it has been brought to my attention that the local food pantries are in need of food. They are crying out for help restocking the many local pantries. A fellow agent, is a pastor a local congregation. She asked if we could team with the teen center which is to open in September. The teens will aid in the collection & distribution to the local pantries. The Food - the Fuel of Life Drive will begin Sept. 22, 2008. Non perishable groceries maybe dropped off at our Keller Williams Real Estate office located at 584 Middletown Blvd across from Macy's in the Oxford Valley Mall. Call me, Carol Swain, if you need the items picked up on Sept. 29th. 215 757-7257. Thank You for your help in advance.

Technology has advanced in every facet of life. We use technology for everything now. Do you even know anyone who does not have a cell phone? I know more people now that do not have a home phone. And with technology advancements, come home advancement. Homeowners want their home to advance as well.
The home automation industry has risen considerably in the past few years. For homeowners it is all about convenience. We want our blinds to go up instantly, and our lights to dim with the push of a button. Many vendors now are offering a package to builders, which include remote home monitoring and automation. One of these brillant vendors is offering new software that allows the user to monitor their home control system from your PDA (or any device with a web browser). The software is called WL3, it monitors your home and updates you when gates are opened, cars enter, and even when the alarm is activated or turned off. But that is not all.... You can also adjust your lights, and home's temperature. The possibilities are endless.
The future is here, now we all need to just embrace it.

We all know and love Google. It seems like you can just about do it all at Google. I know personally, I use Google, when I need to look an address or area up on a map. Google has now come out with Google Street View is now available for our websites.
Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps and Google Earth that gives you a 360 view of the of a location. It is neat. The program displays photos that have been taken by a camera mounted in a car. You can also go up and down the street by clicking on the arrows in the direction you wish to go. Photos can be viewed from different angles, in any direction or in different sizes.
Imagine owning a home with that you can turn all your lights on with a remote. That is right. And the
technology is out there, it is called Verve Lighting. You can check it out at www.vervelivingsystems.com .
The Verve Living System eliminates wires and operates on a radio frequency network. The network transmits the radio signal wirelessly at fast speeds. This means via remote control lighting both indoor and outdoor can be controlled. The network transmitsthe radio signal wirelessly at fast speeds.
This is great news for new homes being built. Verve eliminates the need for wires, nothing is hardwired. Verve switches can be mounted almost anywhere on anything in the home. Verve switches also make it possible to lower the intensity of light in any given room with any switch or using multiple switches. This could be a huge energy saver.
