Register Your Dog With the City - It's Their Ticket Home!

Register Your Dog With the City - It's Their Ticket Home!

National Pet ID week is April 18 to 24 and serves as a great reminder of the value of registering your dog with the city.

Registering your dog in Chicago is quick and easy! Simply visit any City Clerk office location or, better yet, register your dog online in just a few minutes!

There are many benefits to registering your dog!

Your registration helps find your dog if he or she is lost. The person who finds your dog simply calls the number on the dog registration emblem and we then reunite you with your lost pet.

Dog registration is required when taking your pet to an animal care facility that boards or provides dog day care services.

Registration helps take Chicago one step closer to its goal of finding all adoptable animals a home.

A few quick things you need to know about dog registration:

Registration can be bought in 1 or 3 year increments to match your dog's rabies vaccination

You need to know your dog's breed and color and rabies vaccination certification number (if purchasing in person bring rabies certificate with you)

Registration is $5 ($2.50 seniors age 65 and older) for sterilized dogs

Unsterilized dog registration is $50 ($5 seniors age 65 and older)

Register your dog online today or visit any City Clerk office location! Remember, registration your dog's ticket home!

Dream Town Realty and Groupon Team Up

Dream Town Realty in Chicago once again leads the pack with on-line marketing.

By teaming up with Groupon, the Dream Town offer charged $25 to new clients who could then receive a $1000 credit at closing if they exercise the option within one year.

Some may say it is gimmicky, but real estate is about marketing and if there are new ways of attracting business, the cutting-edge marketing firms will be early adopters.

I am proud to be associated with a firm that pays attention to new marketing trends and is nimble enough to be the first to utilize new technologies.
