Sending you Chinese clients clocks as closing gifts is the worst idea!! It means "go to hell' in Chinese (it literally means "go to your end".) It is critical that you do not give these gifts to anyone, but giving watches is great. Although most Asian clients we have are not superstitionious, there are fine lines that we as agents should never cross.
To attend our weekend New York City (Manhattan)Condo Tour, Please give our team a call. To read more info in Chinese, please go to www.GoldHouseUSA.com
Do not ask your Chinese clients to sign their names with red pens! Attorneys and real estate agents: very important at closing! You might get a very angry face.
If you are an agent, make sure you are not showing your clients from the Far East properties that are next to hospitals or next to highways! But the worst ones are funeral homes...The reasons are obvious.
A celebration of the High Line
Finally we can walk on the High Line of West Chelsea, Manhattan. The High Line - a park in the sky - now runs from Gansevoot Street to 20th Street. The construction of this long anticipated park - an old railroad track - began in 2006. This summer, imagine the foot traffic in the area: the 18th street, 19th street and 20th street.
Come to our open houses in the area: 2 apartments for sales at 452 W 19th street - both are large one bedroom for $890,000 and $920,000. Please check out our listings at elliman.com/ccj
In the area: Chelsea market, Chelsea Pier, the Meat-Packing district, hundreds of Chelsea galleries. Hundreds of great restaurants and shops!
