CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) I can't stop talking about it. It took 2 full days to complete the "distance" online course and I have to say that it was about the most enjoyable online course that I have ever taken. Alex Charfen is a premier trainer who is entertaining and has a way to open the fire hose and flood you with information, but you get it. I've never had that happen before. Usually it takes a few days after the training to digest the information and then another few days to actually start putting thing together to be able to use what you paid for. Not this course!
The next day after the two days of training I am loaded and ready with a tried and true "system" in which to start gathering the necessary information to help the few distressed clients I already have. I took this to see if there was something that I didn't understand from the other trainings that I have had on short sales. The answer is "YES" and a lot of it. Misconceptions and misgivings galore and I thought I knew how to handle the negotiation side of a short sale.
I can't even begin to scratch the surface of what I didn't know, but I can tell you that I am very comfortable negotiating with a bank or attorney or a loss mitigation representative and have all the documentation to make a short sale in the shortest amount of time possible.
I would strongly recommend this course to anyone, new or old that has or is dealing with short sales anywhere in the country. I believe, like me you will agree that it is well worth what you pay for it. Go to www.CDPE.com and check it out.
