When Life gives you THESE Lemons, Open a Stand!
Well we have all had our share of Lemon Listings, Lemon Sales, & Lemon clients, but have you ever seen one like this????
Just wanted to share my Latest bumper crop. Yes this is from my very own tree. It is 8 inches high & 22! inches around.
If you have seen John Stossels program on 20/20, I wish he would include this.
I am so tired of hearing all the hearts & flowers victim storys. Didn't anyone ever hear the saying about "Saving for a rainy day!" I guess I am annoyed because I have always done this. But I haven't heard any mention of the responsible citizens who are not expecting a government hand out but are expected to share the burden for the irresponsible. My mortgage came first, not my big screen TV. I not only paid off my mortgage but paid it off early with extra payments. Although I could afford the Mercedes, I choose the Honda. Instead of buying the Gucci purse, I opted for something stylish but affordable. And I knew I couldn't have it all. I paid off my credit cards each month because I did not run them up to their limit. And I am proud to say I taught my son the same. After selling his business, he paid off his $100K+ IRS bill. Every damn dime. (excuse my French) Even though he did not have the cash, He didn't file bankruptcy, or look for a bailout. So my reward for retirement, is higher taxes, & shrinking assets to take care of the stupid like Octo Mom. I believe Welfare is for the needy, not the greedy. And the word Responsibility should be a required course in school. And why is Madoff sitting comfortably in his home?

A client bought a new home and the broker wanted to send flowers for the occasion. They arrived at the home and the owner read the card; it said "Rest in Peace". The owner was angry and called the florist to complain. After he had told the florist of the obvious mistake and how angry he was, the florist said. "Sir, I'm really sorry for the mistake, but rather than getting angry you should imagine this: somewhere there is a funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note saying, "Congratulations on your new home". |
After reading a recent blog about doorknocking in the neighborhood, I thought I would share my version of doorknocking. Due to my own personal safety issues, I prefer to do my doorknocking in the downtown shopping area. This is not the local Taco Bell & Walmart. This is a smaller town with art stores, boutiques, etc. So they cannot slam a door in your face! But why you are looking at everything, someone always comes up to ask you if they can help you. Bingo! I have my introduction! I don't always start out with Hi: I'm Claudia your local Realtor, but before I leave it amazingly gets worked into the conversation. And if they don't have the size or color I like, they get my CARD to call me when they get it in. Food for thought.
After reading this Blog, Is Gov. Sarah Palin A Brilliant Pick or A Risky Pick For McCain? I did some reading. I'm sure her supporters will adamantly deny it, & the opposition will agree. But until now I had no knowledge of this woman, so I am just gathering information and I came upon this.
