The market has been seeing a welcome increase in sales and settlements over the past weeks, the sales are edging higher. Interest rates are still low. The home sales still aren't as swift as we would like to see. The number of new listings has remained stable we are seeing a slight increase in the number of homes going under contract and settling. Now that fall is here we'll see another spurt in activity before the winter hibernation. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more individuals making the decision to buy with so many great deals available. Now with the economic stimulus changes (up to $8000 in tax credits) and low interest rates it will be interesting to see how this all changes. Overall, there has never been a better time to buy, than right now but buyers need to hurry because the tax credit times are coming to an end soon.

Toys for Tots Drive
The days are certainly getting cooler and it hardly seems like the summer is over. However, it is the middle of October and Christmas is just around the corner.
Advance Realty Anne Arundel Inc is proud to support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive again this year. A drop box has been placed in our lobby and we will accept all donations of new, unused and unwrapped toys. Times are tough and this year the need for donations is even larger than before. It doesn't cost that much to pick up a few items for a needy child. The day our box was delivered I went to the local Ollie's store and picked up three items: a board game, a princess dress up kit in it's own travel bag and a set of toy cars. I spent less than $20. Last year we filled 3 big boxes for the toy drive with the help of our friends in the community, our goal this year is to fill 4. Can you help us reach our goal?
