First settled in 1631, Berwick Maine was originally part of Kittery. During King Williams war in 1690-1691, the village of Berwick was burned and abandoned, not to be resetteled again until 1703. In 1713, Berwick was incorporated as a town. Modern day Berwick is not as large as it once was, now that North Berwick, and South Berwick has seperated from it.

Still a small town feel, a "border-town", Berwick has approximately 7000 residents. Berwick is called a border town because of it's close proximity to New Hampshire. A great commuter friendly location, Berwick is in the South East corner of Maine and is only a quick 35 minute drive North to Portland Maine, and a short 20 minute drive to Portsmouth New Hampshire.

Located in Rockingham County New Hampshire, Newfields is a small town with a population of approximately 1600 people. Located along the shores of the Squamscott river, Newfields abuts the towns of Newmarket New Hampshire, Exeter New Hampshire, Stratham New Hampshire, and Epping New Hampshire.
First incorporated in 1849, the town was originally called Newfield Village. Newfield Village was originally just a passage way from Stratham to Exeter with a bridge that was built to cross the Squamscott River. Newfields has always been an important part of the Seacoast New Hampshire history because of it's location at the mouth of the Squamscott River. The river, and the bay it empties into, "Great Bay", has always been an integral part of commerce between the cities of Portsmouth, Dover, Durham, and Greenland.

Today, many signs of the "Old Town" feel of Newfields still exist. Many of the historic Colonial and Federal homes still exist along the downtown village. With the change of the overall population of the New Hampshire Seacoast, and economic boom of recent, Newfields has become a town desirable to move to. While the traditional, historic homes still exist, new construction and rural land development has brought several new neighborhoods to the community.

I invite you to come and explore all that Newfields New Hampshire has to offer. give me a call sometime and I will take you on a personal guided tour of the town.

Nestled back in it's original home town of Rollinsford New Hampshire lies a small piece of New Hampshire history. Originally built in 1701, in a quaint Seacoast New Hampshire town, the Col. Paul Wentworth Home was the residence of of Col. Paul Wentworth and his wife Abra Brown, until his death in 1748.
In 1936 the home was moved from it's original location and moved by it's then current owners, Mae, and Frederick Blodgett, to Dover Massachusetts until their deaths in 1980 and 1999.
The home was moved back to it's original site in 2002, after a generous donation by the current land, and building owner in Dover Massachusetts, Kenneth Rendell. A historic specialist and his crew, carefully started the dismantling process in 2002, returning it to Rollinsford piece by piece.
After several long, hard months and years of painstaking rehabilitation, fund-raising, and volunteering. The Col. Paul Wentworth home reopened to the general public, assisted by the Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (A.R.C.H.) with a grand reopening on Sunday, October 2nd, 2005.

If you are ever in the Rollinsford New Hampshire area, I would suggest that you take a stroll over to the Col. Paul Wentworth Home. It is a small piece of New Hampshire history not to be forgotten.
