This photo was taken today 5/2/09 in Dover New Hampshire. While taking new photos of my listing 600 Sixth Street, Dover New Hampshire,I was out in front of the home, taking exterior photos, I heard a large "buzz" coming from the front of the home. I knew it had to be one of two things. Either it was several humming birds, or it was several bees pollinating. It happened to be the bees pollinating a large rhododendron bush in the front of the house. I knew I was safe getting close to the bush because the bees were too busy pollinating.
If you look real close, you can see one of the many bees that surrounded the bush. It was pretty neat to see, so I figured while I was there I would take the picture and share with you!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
It's that simple! You can make a difference that easily in your community. All communities will be participating, and I know that where I live in Somersworth New Hampshire, the community will be instrumental in it's success. I hope you and your community will also!

One of the greatest things about Dover New Hampshire is it's wonderful park and recreation. Located in the southern part of Dover New Hampshire, Just off Dover Point Road is Hilton Park. Hilton Park is a beautiful historic state park on the Piscataqua River, offering a playground, picnic area, boat launch, and grills.
There are tow bridges spanning the entire length of the park. Being one of the most historic parts of Dover, this is a great spot for tourist, or those new to the area to get a feel of the beauty of Dover. Most people, like myself tend to pass the park on a daily commute and never stop to enjoy the beauty of the park.
I was fortunate enough to work at a local restaurant throughout high school. When I was given a 1 hour break everyday, I would travel to Hilton park, most of the time on foot, to sit and enjoy my lunch and take in the beautiful views. From there I was able to watch the boats launching from the boat launch, the fishermen and kids fishing from the pier. There are several picnic tables and grassy spots to sit and enjoy a bite to eat. A large playground and field for the kids to enjoy, many families will take an afternoon and spend it at the park.

Whenever I have someone with me that is new to the Dover New Hampshire area, I'll take them to Hilton Park. It always puts a smile on my face when I can see someone enjoying the park as much as I do. It's not just for picnickers, tourists and boaters, it's also there for us to just sit and relax.
