Before and after pictures

Wow, this was such a fun project. For the first time I actually did the painting instead of hiring someone to do it. I painted the master bed, master bath, master sitting, family room, dining room, and stairs. Then I did a lot of cleaning and staged it. I'm going to share one picture with you, the rest will have to wait for Andrew Mayon with Triad Real Estate Photograpy. He will be photographing the house Friday!

Before, there were renters in here. You can't see it but they painted the accent wall and didn't cut in around the molding, so it was jagged on top.

a little paint, a little elbow grease, a little staging...a big difference

Hello,

I hope you all are doing well. Just wanted to share a house that I'm almost done staging. I still have to finish the family room and kitchen, but here are the Master, hall bath, and sunroom. We are hoping for a quick sale because the client closes on her new house in 60 days.

We removed a lot of wallpaper, painted, cleaned and staged. Enjoy!

How we organized Four local stagers working together

Hello,

I just posted a blog about how four local stagers worked together on a Parade Home for a builder, and there was some interest in how we organized it.

I had a local builder, who has one home staged with me, approach me a couple of months ago and asked if I could help him out with a home he is entering in the parade. He needed it to stay in a budget that was small. I told him I would work with him to help him, not to worry, it would look great.

As the president of the Greensboro Chapter of the American Society of Home Stagers and Redesigners, I hold a meeting in our area once a month. We have a small chapter, about 9 girls. Most of them are just starting out their businesses and are still trying to figure things out. I thought, wouldn't it be great if we all worked together, picked a room in the house and staged it for this builder at no charge. We could put our business cards in the room we staged to show our work.

I ran this by the chapter and had the girls on board. We were VERY lucky because Angele Carlson, has loads of furniture and accessories. She was very generous in letting us use her furnishings and accessories. We decided we would all give Angele some money for letting us do that.

We all got together and organized what furniture and accessories we were going to use. We charged the builder for delivery only. We all helped load the delivery truck, and our cars were full too, and helped unload the furniture.

We decided the easiest way to do it was to all help with everything. We all started on a room and helped each other hang pictures, gave our input on accessories, etc...

It took us about a week to do everything starting with the sorting of furniture, but we finally finished. I contacted our local paper and asked them if they would do a story. They agreed and are featuring it in the Real Estate section this Sunday.

I had such a great time. They are a GREAT bunch of girls and wish everyone lots of business and success.

Thanks Lori Nicholson with Stylishly Staged, Kim Lee with All About Image, and Angele Carlson with Curtain Call home staging, (her website is not available yet).

Did I mention that Andrew Mayon with Triad Real Estate Photography is going to photograph the home for us too at no charge??? Thanks Andrew!!!!!! We love you man.

Here is a slideshow of our work. Enjoy! http://www.photoshow.com/watch/SG7Fi2Bz

Staged for the Parade by four local stagers

Hello,

It's that time of year again when the Parade of Homes is starting. The builders are getting ready and we are waiting for the business. Being the President of the American Society of Home Stagers and Redesigners, Greensboro Chapter, I thought it might be fun if we worked on a project together.

Angele Carlson of Curtain Call Home Staging, Lori Nicholson of Stylishly Staged, Kim Lee of All About Image, and myself, Chrissie Sutherland with Ready Set Stage worked together bringing our accessories and furniture to stage a home for a local builder. We did it for him at no charge and are hoping for some future business from Paradees. I also contacted the local paper who is featuring an article this Sunday!!

Here are the before and after pictures...and then some. Enjoy!!!

Vacant before and after photos

Hi fellow stagers,

I hope everyone is busy this spring. I just came off of a vacation and now I'm way busy. Just wanted to share some pictures of a few houses we did this week. In both homes, we just staged the great room and kitchen. Hopefully it will be enough to sell quickly. Thanks for stopping by.
