August 2, 2008 11 am - 4 pm. Beast of the East Massachusetts State Chili Cook-Off at Bentley Field, Winchendon. Admission $8 for adults, children $1.
Sponsored by the Winchendon Kiwanis Children's Charities, the cook-off features cooks from across the nation competing for the state title to qualify for entry into the world chili championship. Enjoy chili tastings, music, moonwalks, games and family fun. Come join in the fun!

Concerts are on Fridays (through 7/25/08) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the museum's Sundial Plaza. In case of rain or the threat of rain, concerts are held in the tent pavilion
Tickets are $18 per person (includes museum admission) or $15 per Ecotarium and WICN member.
It's free for children 12 and under!
Order tickets in advance at 508-929-2703 or www.ecotarium.org. Advanced tickets are available until 4:30 the Thursday before the show. Tickets also available at the gate on the night of the show.
Light dinners, snacks, wine, beer, and soda are sold at all concerts. Please feel free to pack a picnic, however, no alcohol can be brought into the facility. No pets allowed.
