I have my sellers get full house inspections (including termite letters) on the front end of their listings. We use a tough inspector and do it before we even list the house. We make the inspection available to potential buyers and advertise that we have it. We also use the inspection as a list of what needs to be taken care of and take care of it! This does a couple things. It removes the inspection contingency on an offer (usually) if the buyer still wants an inspection, that's fine because we feel quite confident that everything is fine. It also is a bonus to the buyers. If they choose to use our inspection, rather then purchasing their own, it saves them $300-400 dollars.
We have a logo that we tag our lisitngs with that identifies them as "Home Inspected Protected"
It has been well received.
The Tri-Cities are of Northeast Tennessee is the home to two fabulous wineries. Countryside Vineyards is a small family owned and operated winery nestled in the beautiful hills and countryside. They opened their doors March 31, 1991 with three wines-White, Red and Blush, today, they offer a variety of wines-reds and whites from dry to sweet, all medal winners. They have a tasting room and a private party rooms for events of all types. Their direct website is http://www.cvwineryandsupply.com

Corey Ippolito Winery is located less then 2 miles down the road from Countryside and also serves a variety of wines. Kevin and Nancy Corey opened their winery in 1999 and have grown each year. They have a B&B, wedding venue and meeting rooms. They have 6 acres of vines currently and are adding every year.
Corey Ippolito website is http://www.civines.com
Both vineyards are a delight to visit and add to the community charm.
Here in Northeast Tennessee we have a term used in Real Estate quite frequently, that is Half Backs. It is used to refer to the people from the northern states (north to Tennessee) who are tired of the winters and have decided to move to the sunny states (south of Tennessee) to retire. What happens, a lot, is these people find the move doesn't fit them perfectly and instead of moving all the way back north, they move half the distance back to their home state, to Tennessee, thus the term 'half back'. I'm wondering if there are other areas in the country that are having the same scenarios. The funny thing is, these people who end up in Tennessee refer to themselves as half backs, as well.
More Northeast Tennessee beauty here. Rock Creek Falls State park. Camping, hiking, even a pond to swim in during summer time. A wonderful place for families to visit. There are several trails, we took the trail named after the park. Rock Creek Falls trail. Lots of creek crossings and based on the fact there is no picture of me in the creek...he made the right decision!

It was a great spring day for hiking, not too hot, not too cold. Just a lot of high creeks!

A cloud crested sky, a low lying valley and a quiet country farm. All part of the beauty we share with the world.
