Well, I have a funny little story about how I picked up my latest Buyers! Just really just never know where your business is going to come from....the beauty of Real Estate sales!

I went to a local hotel for a Real Estate seminar not even thinking about the possibilities of other activities going on in the hotel at the same time. It was a relatively long journey to get there and I was running just a wee bit behind. I missed the parking lot entrance and chose to go "the back way"...two huge speed bumps and a "Do Not Enter" sign later and I slid right into a ....Handicapped parking space. No, I'm not handicapped...I was just having a senior moment...okay, I moved to a regular space MUCH farther away from the door. Upon entering the hotel I was wisked into a crowd of very happy people and I felt like I was a leaf twirling around in the wind. Someone called me Anne and proceeded to introduce me to others, next thing I know I'm having a glass of wine from the free bar and eating little crackers with cheese. I thought to myself, "Boy, this is a great group! Very accommodating...friendly...when is the seminar portion of this evening going to begin?" That's about the same time the announcer commented the band would be back in 5 and blah blah blah....I met quite a few people at this COMPANY CHRISTMAS PARTY! LOL

I had handed a few business cards out, shook many hands, laughed at many jokes - had a great time!!
Free wine and great buffet...I realized I was guilty of crashing someone's Christmas party! By then the seminar I was there to attend was in full swing and I was swinging in the wrong banquet room!

I still don't know which company was having their party... but, I did get a call this afternoon from someone there who would like to buy a house!

It just goes to show you never know ...I will know very soon which company that was and I will make sure to market to that crowd! Should I change my name on my business cards to Anne?!
