We first got to know Brevard, North Carolina and its neighboring communities the way many people do – by vacationing here. We would come every summer to escape the heat of Florida and soak in the pristine beauty of the mountains. Every time we had to leave, we dreamed of the time when we could come back. Finally, after living in Florida for over 30 years, time and opportunity came together and we made our plan. Between the heat, the hurricanes, and the hectic way of life, we were more than ready for a change and we knew exactly where we wanted to be...right here in western North Carolina.
