North Star Subdivision

North Star subdivision is located in Austin just North of the Domain Shopping center. If you are looking for a great neighborhood that is tucked away and has the potential for rapid appreciation don't miss this subdivision. With Enchanted Forest just across Mopac being a New Home builder by Mercedez Homes, with pricing starting around 280,000, new development is here. In regards to Residential Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate this area will help define both in terms of Austins growth. The homes being sold in 78758 are being sold at a fast pace to many investors who can get decent homes and cash flow with these rental properties. Piney Ridge

Piney Ridge is located just across from the Bastrop High school and offers great homes. This subdivision has the Pine Trees that contribute to the uniqueness of the Bastrop Real Estate market. Homes in Piney Ridge are on nice sized lots and range in pricing. However, there are vacant lots or acreage that are currently restricted in regards to endangered species. One client that I sold a home to in Piney Ridge had a neighbor who was being crowded by a vacant lot under contract next door to her house. Before she could secure financing on the vacant lot listed at 25k, it was purchased by the potential homebuilder. The city informed her that without anyone contesting the subdivision restrictions in court, they could go unattested. Always, remember to contact an experienced Broker before purchasing a home in any subdivision. Piney Ridge has a demand with regards to the few vacant lots still available due to scenery and location.

Hunters Crossing

Hunters crossing is conveniently located to Austin on the West side of Bastrop. Homes were built in 2005 in the newest addition and include 4 Bedroom 2 Bath homes with up to 3000 sf. Entry level homes are 3 Bedroom 2 Bath, approx 1400 sf and are basically on sale at this time with recent short sales. The location to Austin is a short 45 minute commute and is less than five minutes to Historical downtown Bastrop. Currently listed at Hunters crossing is a 2600 sf 4 Bedroom home for around 130k. Whether it's an investment property or primary residence, I believe purchasing is the smartest move to make.

Tahitian Village

Tahitian Village is located in Bastrop Texas just 45 minutes from Austin. Tahitian includes huge pine trees, gorgeous hilltop scenery with views, nature filled 18 hole Golf course on the Colorado River, and fabulous homes. The home sites range from the Mid 100's to the 500's. This subdivision is one of a kind and is across from the Bastrop State park, basically sharing the same Tall Pine trees that help define this area. The cliffs that overlook the Colorado River make some lots incredible with views of the countryside for miles and miles. If you are looking for a home nestled in whats equivalent to a forest of Pines and nature, Tahitian Village is arguably the nicest in Bastrop County.
