In our ongoing series highlighting Colorado real estate experts, ColoradoHomesIQ interviewed Nate Holler Broker Associate with ONE Realty in Denver, Colorado. We hope our Colorado real estate agent blogs provide Colorado home buyers and sellers a better perspective of the real estate agents and a chance to know a little more about our Colorado real estate experts.

I grew up in southeast Minnesota along the Mississippi River. After attending college at the University of Iowa, I decided that the mountains were calling and made the move to Denver. After a few years in Denver, my wife and I lived abroad for a year, but then returned to the city since we loved it here so much.
I've been interested in real estate as an investment for a long time, and I got my start in the industry in 2005 when I began managing multi-unit rental properties in central Denver and Capitol Hill. This experience gave me a great working knowledge of several Denver neighborhoods, and I decided that I wanted to use that knowledge to work with buyers, sellers and other investors.
In business, I strive to continually improve and give my clients a level of service that exceeds their expectations. In life, I want my business to allow me to spend time with my family and provide my kids (we just had our 3rd) with opportunities to travel, learn and discover things that they love.
I really enjoy working with buyers of all kinds --- first-timers, investors, and experienced. I love tracking down a great property and negotiating to get the buyer a screaming deal. I get a lot of satisfaction when I can help guide a buyer to the right home, especially when they aren't quite sure what's the right home or neighborhood for them.
Now that we have young kids (ages 4, almost 2, and a newborn), they are my most important "hobby!" But when I have some free time, I enjoy being outside playing golf, softball, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and pretty much any other sport you can throw my way. I can't wait to get my kids on the slopes and golf course with me!
I recently helped an investor purchase a bank-owned home for just $18,500. It's not necessarily a "crazy" story, but it's definitely one of the best deals I've helped negotiate! Who would have thought that for less than the price of a used car, you could buy a fix & flip single-family home in Denver!

I am a Colorado native. I was born and raised in Colorado
I started many years ago assisting my Mother as was also a REALTOR. I obtained my brokers license in 1996 and have been a full time broker since.
I just started my own Real Estate Company: CO Real Estate Group. My goal is growing my business to better serve my clients.
I enjoy and get great satisfaction from helping my clients in all aspects of buying, selling, short sales and investment properties.
I enjoy hiking in the mountains, swimming and spending time with family.
The day I toured an REO house with an investor. There were body chalk lines on the floor. That was pretty scary and qw left quickly.

Once again Colorado cities and towns have been recognized as some of the best places to live in the United States. In fact, Louisville, CO was named the best place to live for the 2nd time in 3 years by CNN and Money Magazine. Colorado tied for the most cities on the list, has four other cities (Superior, Parker, Black Forest, Castle Rock) in Colorado ranked among the top 100 cities in America. Westminster, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs, Arvada missed the list this, but have been listed as top places to live in the past few years. While I don't understand how a city can rank in the top 20 one year and not in the top 100 the next, but I guess they do have to limit how many cities are from one state.
Colorado's tech, clean energy, aerospace, and health care industries provide a great job market for it's residents. Many of the top cities also boast great schools, community, and recreation for their residents. It also helps to have a beautiful landscape and views to the west. The real estate market in the top cities have also consistently outperformed the national averages.
