Open House Kit

Kim Cooke

I am a new sales agent working with my husband, (he is a realtor with several years under his belt). We are calling ourselves, the "Cooke Team" or "Team Cooke", whichever sounds better at the time.

We secured a listing last weekend and will be having an open house this weekend for an Executive Pool Home in Safety Harbor, Florida that is listed with some incentives for a quick sale. Please note, this is not a short sale.

I am putting together an "Open House Kit", that I plan to take with me on Saturday to make sure I have everything I need for a successful Open House. As a buyers agent, I am anxious to meet with potential buyers looking for executive homes.

In the kit so far is:

  • Our Open House Guest Register
  • Business Cards for both of us
  • Blank "As Is" Contracts
  • Blank Buyer contracts
  • Flyers for the neighbors (for a sneak preview that will be distributed on Friday)
  • Flyers for the guests
  • Home Buyers Passports
  • A "sugar cookie" candle to burn.

We will have our "Open House" signs and balloons out on Saturday morning. We have marketed the open house in many websites and the MLS.

Do you have any additional suggestions that we should add to our "kit" to make this Open House a success? Would love to hear any suggestions.
