As Thanksgiving approaches, I'm reflecting on the many thanks that God has blessed me with. One area of thanksgiving is that I am surrounded by wonderful people who are working together to make the most of this up and down real estate market. I have the wonderful opportunity to being surrounded with the best office staff ever. Without their daily support and encouragement, my days would be completely different. They give me the ability to spend quality time with my wife and kids and I am so thankful for their hard work and support.
I also have the opportunity to work with the best real estate agents in the business. Their daily focus, commitment to excellence, and drive to offer their clients the very best make my job as their broker so enjoyable. I get the daily opportunity to help them achieve their goals while watching them give their clients the best service and results in the business. How fun is that? Super fun.
Affiliates...I have worked with many of the same affiliates for the past 10 years and I consider them an extension of my own office family. They have been the best in offering support, encouragement, and expertise in their field and I know that without them, our office would not have the success we have experienced over the last 7 years.
I am sure that all of you have a great support team that you have surrounded yourself with in this incredible industry. I hope you get a chance to let those in your support system know what a positive impact they have made in your life and in your business. Happy thanksgiving to you all.
Today was a good day. The weather was great in North Orange County and my son had three soccer games scheduled in three different cities against three different teams.
In the morning, AC Brea played FC Manchester Untited at Olinda Park in Brea. It was a very close game played fairly with Brea winning 3-0. Jason Aquire scored all three goals in a closly played match. It was nice to get a home win with parents participating coordially and everyone having a great time. I am very thankful to be a Brea resident to enjoy the nice fields that Brea keeps up and takes pride in providing for its residences and visitors. Thank you Brea for providing the best!
At high noon, my son joined his Anaheim team (FC Galaxy) at Peter Marshall field in Anaheim to take on Cruz Azul in a very tight match. Each team played agressively and kept the match super close. Unfortunately, one mom was ejected from the field for being fouled mouthed and I had to explain to my 7 year old why the ref. was throwing her off the field and why should was screaming. Shaved ice ice cones and corn on the cob from the cart vendor soon got her distracted. The Azul pulled off a win 3-2 but I think we might have outplayed them. It is tough to lose but all the boys stayed healthy so I was happy.
At 3:00 PM, AC Brea met back together at Wagner Elementary in Placentia to play a friendly with the Top Dogs with the Top Soccer organization. Top Soccer is a community outreach program with Jusa that gives opportunities for everyone to enjoy the wonderful game of soccer. I was blessed to watch our boys play and support this program while walking away being extremely blessed and a part of something much bigger than their everyday soccer schedule. Thank you coach Marius for putting this together for our boys.
Soccer was never a part of my life growing up but I have been extremely blessed to be a part of my son's teams, activities, and parernt community. AC Brea has been a great organization to play for and I am excited about watching our boys grow into young men with tough games and big hearts.
