44th Annual Parade of Homes October 3-4, 9-11 & 16-18, 2009

This year marks the 44th Annual Parade of Homes here in the Triangle (Raleigh) area. The first weekend is rapidly approaching ans the weather is predicted to be absolutely perfect!
The Parade will showcase some of the area's finest homebuilders with just shy of 400 homes for your viewing pleasure. Prices range from the low $100's to over $3,000,000!

Reel-ly Scary Movies in Cary, North Carolina
From October 26th through October 30th the town of Cary will be hosting the Reel-ly Scary Cary Movie Series. Horror movie enthusiasts can come out to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre and view some of the greatest horror classics ever to hit the big screen.
Gates open at 6PM and the movies start at 7PM. Adult admission is $3.00 and kids under 12 are free. Bring a blanket or chair as the spacious lawn at Koka Booth Amphitheatre is transformed in to an outdoor movie theatre.

The Caniac Carnival is coming!
The Caniac Carnival is coming!
This Sunday, September 19th, Raleigh’s very own professional hockey team, the Carolina Hurricanes will host their 10th annual season kick-off event, the Caniac Carnival.
Beginning at 10AM on the grounds of the RBC Center in Raleigh, this year’s event features activities for the young and old alike.
Rides, interactive games and live music are all on tap for this year’s Caniac Carnival.

Fans can watch the Hurricanes practice followed by the Red-White shootout.
After that, the coach and one of the players will be on hand to answer all your questions about the upcoming season.
There will also be an autograph session featuring some of the Hurricanes players.
Twenty fans randomly selected throughout the Carnival will be invited onto the ice following practice to take a group picture with members of the Hurricanes.
This year one of the not to be missed events is the all new Crazy Caniac Challenge.
Parking and admission to the event is free of charge for all fans.
