Just a quick comment on Southern Wisconsin and the Madison area.
Seems that Dane County and Madison are quite resilient as far as the economy is concerned.
The Sunday Wisconsin State Journal indicates that Madison usually rebounds from recessions much quicker than many other areas... We do have 3 major Hospitals, University of Wisconsin - Madison ( Go Badgers). State, City, County government. There are over 1900 employees of the Madison Metropolitan School District. We have a large technical college, Madison Area Technical College. We even have the Freedom From Religion Foundation here! And 4 lakes in the middle of it all. Not to be forgotten... those F-22 fighter jets flying around too...they are based at the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison.
I am off to check out some condos for a client.
