I hate to say this but it seems that summer is almost over! And it feels like it just started!! Or is it just me? I spent most of the spring and beginning of summer planning my wedding and we all know how much that takes out of you! Well, the brides know anyway!! I was married to my wonderful husband, Ric, on July 4th and we just got back from our honeymoon in Jamaica. And STILL.......I feel like I've missed the whole summer! The kids start school in less than a month and I guess I base "summer" on that. Remember when we used to go back after Labor Day? Those were the days!!!
Anyway, in the next month, in between packing in some camping trips and getting the kids to Six Flags at least once this year, there is the 2009 Parade of Homes that we can't forget about!!! This seems to be something that everyone in Colorado Springs looks forward to each year. It will run from Friday, August 7th - Sunday, August 23rd and is open each day from 11:00am - 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 at local Safeway stores and the ticket is good for as many times as you want to go!
