Yes is's true CreekStone Homes has sold our corporate office. 'The CreekStone Building' located at 6775 RangeWood has been sold to a defense contractor out of Denver. The CreekStone Building has been on the market for two years now and it was finally under contract and now all contingencies have been removed and things are moving foreword. While we are excited, change is hard and to leave something that Tom and Rhonda McDonald had a vision for, and built themselves kind of stinks. Our new home is located at 2139 Chuck wagon Road #300, Colorado Springs Colorado 80919. I find this strange as it is a stones throw away from where I grew up! We have signed a lease and will be looking for new property to build a new office for ourselves in the next year or two.
No it's not true, CreekStone Homes is not going out of business in any way, we have just sold the building! We have plenty of lots and inventory homes to sell and have entered 2 homes in the HBA Parade of Homes, we may end up doing 3, not quite sure yet on that. CreekStone Homes is going into 2 new neighborhoods as of next week and will be building in 2 More neighborhoods by the end of may.

Governor Ritter signed into law that every home built after July 2009, is acquired to have a carbon monoxide detect er 15 feet outside every bedroom and entry doors. From a builders perspective that really stinks, with the current drop in prices and profits for builders at an all time low adding to the cost of the homes isn't making much sense to be. So good job Gov. Ritter, the builders can eat some more cost!
