Austin is hot again, not only is the temperature 104 degrees outside, but so is the market. I have been working with several buyers in Southwest Austin who are looking for great homes to buy. We are making offers on homes, but end up competing with other buyers for the same home. Basically, we are looking at the homes as soon as they hit the market. If they are good homes - in great condition & highly desirable, we are making full price offers or close to it. In the last week, 2 of the buyers have been able to "win" the homes we were competing for. It is just a new market lately, you have to act fast, be ready to see the homes as soon as they are listed. I have been actively networking with other agents to see homes before they hit the market.
