RELATIONSHIP MATTERS

It's all about relationships! At the "end of the day", what else really matters?! I treat my clients as if they are dear friends! Getting to really know my clients in the process of selling, and helping buyers find the right home, is what makes work satisfying for me. If I cannot feel good about my efforts, and the results, working isn't worth the money.

This past year, I helped several families transition to this country for the first time. I begin by taking a day to tour the entire area, telling them as much history and interesting information that I know about each part of town. Planning a break for coffee somewhere interesting is a great way to get to know each other. For example, I took a German couple to Krispy Kreme Donuts. The wife loved them so much that, as we were leaving, she said, "I do not want my children to know about this place"! We had such a laugh together about that. They are now very happily settled in a lovely rental home in Treesdale for the next two years.

Areas of Expertise

PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS

One area of expertise that I have is working with Senior Citizens and helping them downsize to more appropriate housing. I have a designation from the National Association of Realtors as a "Seniors Real Estate Specialist". I am trained to help with all aspects of their move, and have assembled a team of expects to go step-by-step through the entire process. My team consists of an Elder Law firm, a professional organizer and a social worker. Our team makes it seemingly easy to make the move!

I lost both of my parents in the last three years, and walked through the entire process with each of them, at different times. My sister and I could (and should) write a "how to" book about this. We just figured it out using love as our guide! Since then, I have taken up "the cause" as a personal committment to Seniors and the contribution that they have made to all of us.
