All you animal lovers -- This is pretty simple... Please tell at least ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.
It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box 'fund food for animals' for free. This doesn't cost you a thing.
Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.
Here's the web site! Pass it along to 10 people you know.

With Hurricane Katrina still a big part in the minds of so many people who lost so much 3 years ago, I couldn't go without saying how thankful I am to have never lived thru such a tragedy. I did experience Hurricane Hugo in 1989, but that is nothing compared to what the people of New Orleans experienced during Hurricane Katrina.
It does appear that the levees did hold and that this storm will not cause near the flooding Katrina did. Let us all keep these people in our hearts and minds as they go thru this terrible storm.
You know it dawned on me today as I was readingseveral blogs, that we all love our pets and share stories and pictures with other animals lovers...... but where is your family?
Although it seems I do spend more time with my dogs than my husband or son.....I do have a husband and son, as a matter of fact I have a mother, a father, a sister and lots of inlaws and nieces and nephews. :)
With that said.......I won't go into any long drawn out stories.....just a picture of my boys!!

Well here we are again - It's college football time. I am a big SC Gamecock fan. I was never much on football until I started going to college games with my husband. I still don't care for Pro-Football, but you don't have to ask me twice to go to a Gamecock game.
The Gamecocks had there first big win Thursday night. They beat the Wolfpack 34-0 at their first home game of the season.
I am excited about this football season, I think it will be great for the Gamecocks!
GO COCKS!
