When I got into real estate I had no idea how much one person could impact so many other lives. IT is AMAZING to know that when we sell one home we can touch as many as 1000 other people! How's that for supporting our economy?
The next time someone makes you feel like a "dirty rotten salesperson" think of how many lives are touched and how many jobs depend on you helping others. And if that doesn't make you feel good enough then NOW is the TIME to GIVE Back to your community. There are so many opportunities to get out and do good.
Not sure how, where? Call your local food bank for starters, or other charitable organization and ask what do they need. Several Keller Williams agents in my area have banned together and we have a goal to help 60 families this year. The first year our goal was 10 and we helped 17, last year our goal was 25 and we helped 31 families. I am so excited to be a part of this.
Each family will have a full Christmas Dinner (with all the trimmings) delivered to them on Sunday December 14th,2008. A Christmas tree with lights and decorations if needed, a warm blanket, a $25 gift certificate to a grocery store and each child will receive one want and one need as a gift and one teddy bear. Get in the spirit! IT is such a powerful feeling to know that you are actually doing something that makes a difference in a child's life. We almost have our 1000 teddy bears that we needed. I hope that we are able to reach our goal.
A small gift of your time may make all the difference in another person's life. This is also a great way to touch base with your sphere of influence. Show them that you are not just another Realtor. You are a true community leader.
An active and vibrant community in North Edmond describes Belmont Farms located at the NE corner of Kelly and Coffee Creek. Lush green lawns, green spaces, majestic trees, nature trails and winding wooded creeks create an environment that is both welcoming and pleasing to the eye.
On any given evening you will see families riding bikes on the paved trails that wind through the community or new mothers pushing strollers. In fact you can ride, jog or walk on those trails all the way to Mitch Park and the MAC recreation center. Belmonts green spaces and picnic areas provide a quiet retreat from everyday demands. The new playground and the pool with cabana are inviting and a great way to find entertainment in your own "backyard." You can even fish in the ponds.
Belmont Park I is almost completed. There are some beautiful custom built homes available now. This is a great opportunity to own in an established sought after area. The average home size is 3200 sq feet of living space. Available homes are ranging in size from 2600 (mol) to 4100 (mol). You can find homes beginning in the 300's and going up to the mid 400's in Belmont Park I.
You can find bunco clubs, movie night with a big screen at the pool and neighbors who really care about their community - residents have said it's like having an extended family. Several of the home builders who currently build there have chosen to call Belmont Farms home. It's a hard place to leave once you get there - it has charm, appeal and a warmth that makes you comfortable. Come out and see for yourself. There are model homes open each weekend.
