Society Executive Director, John M. Peckham III said "Like the seven previous annual events which have grown steadily from 20,800 to over 30,000 attendees and have featured over 180 national speakers, the 2009 Cyber Convention brings real estate professionals all of the excitement and features of a "hard floor" convention.
"This year's event will be held again in the new 3-D virtual convention center that is extremely immersive. The on-line convention center features a popular Networking Lounge including an array of discussion rooms at selected Expo Booths. Attendees are also provided with a 3-D Convention Program Guide containing comprehensive convention information."
"The Society feels that this year's event is ideal in these tight financial times. There is very little attendees will miss at this virtual event, Peckham concluded. All of the elements of a "hard floor convention" will be there. The only thing missing will be out of pocket costs for airfare, hotel bills, lost shoe leather, aching muscles, travel hassle, registration fees - and time away from home! Attendees can thank the exhibitors and sponsors for that - it's their gift to the industry" Agents may obtain a Complimentary pass at:

CT doesn't have as many foreclosures as other States but we have enough. Don't be scared of foreclosures in your neighborhood or the so called experts saying that "your neighborhood values will go down". That's true but ONLY Temporarily. The appraisers only go back 6 months so the foreclosures will work their way through the market and the market value will come back just like they did in the 90's.
The RTC worked and properties were foreclosued and sold then the values returned, so don't believe the pundits.
It'll be OK!
