About Us:

Prior to entering real estate, I spent 25 years in the ministry. This experience has aided me in several ways in my real estate career. I have learned to put myself in the shoes of my clients and to be a good listener. When I sit down with you as my client, my goal is for you to sense that I genuinely care for your needs. I enjoy helping people and I'm not just looking for the bottom line in a transaction (unless its your bottom line!). My service is marked by a level of honesty that I like to describe as "kind but realistic." In other words, I will not just tell you what I think you want to hear in order to get your business. I'm available 7 days a week to meet your needs, I give out my cell number to all my clients. In the last 3 years I have sold more than three times the number of homes than the average realtor in the nation (according to NAR statistics).

Areas of Expertise

In the past 4 years I have represented home buyers, sellers and investors in 104 transactions. My clients have come from 11 different countries and from all walks of life. I have sold farmland and half million dollar show properties but my specialty is single family homes. Since January 2006, I have taken 31 listings and sold 97% of those listings at an average ratio of 98% list price to sale price. The average days on market for those listings was 35. In that same time period I have helped 33 buyers find homes or investment properties at an average sales price of $193,921. This broad range of experience with people and property makes me the perfect person to help you achieve your real estate goals and dreams. My education includes a Bacherlor's degree from Ozark Christian College, completion of all state required real estate courses from the Austin Institute of Real Estate. My designations include:Graduate Realtor Institute, Certified Marketing Specialist, Certified Negotiating Specialist. I am a director on the board of the Williamson County Association of Realtors.

I recently moved from Southern California to Round Rock, TX (Austin area). Like many Californians, I wanted to cash out on the housing boom there and look for a home to where I could have no mortgage. I knew that in Texas I could buy a whole lot of house for very little money. However, I didn't know where to start. I found Dan Campbell by chance when I was doing a search for homes in Austin on the internet. At the time, I didn't have a clue for what area to look at, nor did I even know of any sub-divisions. I only knew that I liked Austin. Dan sent me pictures of various neighborhoods in and around Austin via email. I spent 3 weeks looking at the various homes via the internet from links that Dan would email me each day. This allowed me to narrow down the search and give Dan an idea of the kind of home I was looking for. I narrowed the search down to 15 homes. Then I flew out to Austin and spent an entire Saturday with Dan looking for homes. Dan really gave me a sense of the area, and really knew the builders and the kind of homes they build. Dan was able to help find a home that I liked in one day. That same day I made an offer and the buyer accepted it. I figured that I must have picked a good area being that I bought a home on the same street as Dan's home. Dan not only is a great realtor, he is a great human being. My moving company was late and Dan ended up loaning me an air-mattress to sleep on for several days until my furnishings showed up.
