Swan Lake in Redmond Washington

SWAN LAKE ON UNION HILL REDMOND

There is a gorgeous community by the name of Swan Lake that sits off the top of Union Hill in Redmond Washington. The community was originally constructed in the late 80's and early 90's. The character built with each home truly gives Swan Lake a presence to remember. The community consists of Traditional style as well as Victorian Classics and a few Contemporary mixed in.

What Tyson and I found to be so inspiring was the natural growth of such amazing landscape and the real sense of community.

We have friends who live in Swan Lake and are so proud to be apart of this unique community. Everyone is on the same page on how they want their homes and streets to appear. Which if you ever drive through you will see that it has immaculate beauty and has a prestine class that makes this community unforgettable.

Years ago when I first discovered Swan Lake, I was so pleasantly surprised to see such great Real Estate around my neck of the woods. It has always stuck in my mind to be one of the most classic and proud communities in Redmond.

The average size lot is just under an acre with much privacy and thought out plan for each home site. The average home size is about 5500 sq. ft. with 4+ bedrooms. The homes in this community sell in the range of $900k up to about $2million. The quiet streets and peace you feel when you enter Swan Lake has really helped the sale of the homes. The average day on market for the last 2 years has been about 60 days. With there being fewer buyers in this price range, that is actually phenomenal time.

Here are some pictures to show the presence and beauty....

The Meadows housing development in Bellevue Washington

City of Redmond within Washington state is a beautiful city with much to offer. The housing community called, The Meadows, near Marymoor Park in Redmond was originally built in the late 70's to house both Microsoft employees and the increased population growth that our lovely Pacific Northwest has continued to build.

Community fitness and pool

There are many ammenities within The Meadows. There is both a fitness center and pool as well as park areas for kids to play. This community mainly consists of PUD homes (townhome style with small yards) but does have some traditional residential homes as well.

I really only blog on communities that particularly catch my eye. This is one of those where you drive in and can feel the sense of community. Many paths to walk, trees dividing the driving lanes and open grassy areas throughout.

The Meadows is a very quant community and has been a popular place to live since the beginning. Access to the development is just minutes to Grasslawn Park, Marymoor and within blocks of Microsoft campus.

The homes that sell in this community average about 27 days on the market. Once you arrive in The Meadows it is easy to see why people both love to stay for years, as well as why newcomers are quick to buy.

Over the last 6 months there have been 4 sales, which all closed within 60 days. There is a reason that things move quickly in The Meadows. Come find out why!
