I read this somewhere, I think it was the rainmaker book. For those of you who missed it here goes!

I just wanted to share a quick tip for marketing your home! This can be a successful tool for For Sale By Owners as well.
I have done this for my sellers and it generates a great response.
When marketing your home, choose 25 of your family and friends. Send them a hand written note about you selling your home. Ask them if they know anyone who maybe interested. Yes, even out of state family and friends. Sometimes Aunt Sally knows that Cousin Bob wants to move back to Cincinnati.
The note needs to be handwritten and placed in the mail shortly after you decide to sell. Make it short and sweet, and leave your phone number. For agents of course, stick a card inside!
Let your friends and family do the hard work for you!

So I really enjoyed the Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller and his new book just arrived at my door from Amazon.com today!

I am ready to read it all tonight! Have any of you read it yet, and what did you think?

Well, I have decided to put some effort into my website. I just finsihed the RAINMAKER book and tried to apply some ideas.

I have a new domain that points to my old domain www.cincyhousehunt.com

I tried to come up with some cool things, and do some sort of capture. I chose to use the CMA request. I just launched the first draft today and its live.

I also changed my email to cincyhousehunt@gmail.com, because I have having so many issues with my broker E-mail going to junk.

Since I am a rookie, and trying to find my way, any advice is much appreciated. I know we are all busy, but if you could offer some insight on how you figured all this out I would be most grateful!!

I was wondering what you were all doing new in 2009 for your business.

I have some new ideas, but I am unsure which one to implement. I think I will try to do a little more social networking and read some good books.

To improve my business I am going to make more phone calls!!!
