When is the best time to Buy?

Seems like anyone who's been in the real estate biz has had to deal with that question either directly asked of them or indirectly (when a buyer is waiting....for something..... prices to go down more...... a better interest rate....for the stars to be in proper alignment....something). So how do all of you answer the question?

My answer to the question is, "When you can." Life always changes, nothing stays the same. The data we have today, the situation we have today is all known - prices, interest rates, your health, your abilities, your liabilities etc etc. Three months from now - who knows. Will buying the real estate you are considering be a benefit to you and your family in one or more aspects. If so, and you are able to do it. Then do it. Now is the right time. With the "now" part not being tied to any specific date or market trend.

Land for Manufactured Homes - Bellingham Whatcom County

Affordable decent housing is an on going issue which most communities are confronted with. For those looking for a new low maintenance home it can be a challenge to get a place for under $200K in the Bellingham Whatcom County area. Many folks look into the option of purchasing a manufactured home only to find out it can be difficult to find a lot to put it on. Mountian View Meadows in Everson (about 20 minutes from downtown Bellingham) has three fully serviced lots available for manufactured homes. These are large 10,000 sq.ft. lots within walking distance to groceries and schools. Prices range from $78,800 to $84,500. This small 4 lot plat backs up to the old Everson golf course so there's lots of open space and great views of the mountains and foot hills. So, if you've been looking for land to put a new manufactured home this may be your solution.

Oakwood Homes has a 1395 sq.ft. 3bed/2bath unit - the Firside 1 model - that's comes move in ready with all appliances, a 32" LCD HDTV with DVD player, and many other features for $78K.
