The Farmers Almanac is predicting a harsh winter for most of us. Extreme cold and a lot of snow. So start tuning up those boilers and furnaces and have them cleaned. Don't wait until everyone else decides to do it. It may be the end of August but where I live in Southern Vermont the red maples have already turned to a vibrant red, an early sign of what is to come. Tuning and cleaning your heating appliances is as essential as changing the oil in your car. Keep these babies running smooth will increase your efficiency, reduce potential problems and save you money on fuel.
