The state of South Carolina showed relatively no change in average personal income growth for the third quarter of 2011 and ranked 37th in growth in the United States, according to estimates released by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis on Monday. However, South Carolina exceeded the national average growth in seven of 24 business sectors that were analyzed. The largest growth was seen in health care and social assistance, where the state realized a 1.6% increase compared with the previous quarter. The national average is 1.4%. Two different companies will be holding job fairs on Wednesday.

Bosch Rexroth is partnering with HTI Employment Solutions for a fair from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The job fair is at the Embassy Suites on Verdae Boulevard in Greenville.

The company is looking for CNC machinists, maintenance technicians, forklift operators and mechanical engineers.

The other job fair is for the displaced Liberty Denim workers.

Last week, the Liberty Denim plant announced it was closing at the end of the year and 100 workers will lose their jobs.

Unemployment Help Offered For Laid Off Liberty Denim Employees

The job fair for those workers is Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Rosewood Center in Liberty.
