Fishing in Celebration Florida

The community we call Celebration Florida has many wonderful things to enjoy. One of them is almost overlooked by everyone. If you love to fish, you can get all the enjoyment you want right in Celebration Florida. I work with two agents who are avid fishermen, Garry and Jamie. They love to fish and satisfy those cravings right in Celebration. Here is a catch by Garry right in downtown Celebration Florida.

This beauty was caught off the steps leading into the lake at the foot of Market Street. Garry and Jamie love to fish there because the sights, sounds and smells of Celebration Florida simply enhance their fishing experience. They say the best time to fish is about 30 minutes before the sun sets. They catch shiner minnows earlier to use as their bait. They mostly catch large mouth bass and catfish.

Jamie displays one of his trophy fish. While Jamie and Garry are two serious fishermen in Celebration Florida, there are also opportunities to take small children and have them get lots of action from small perch and sunfish off the dock area just in front of the Celebration Hotel. There are lots of ponds and small lakes in Celebration to fish. An extra bonus is getting to see some alligators up close and personal.

Another special event that makes Celebration Florida special.

Celebration Florida Loves Halloween

LIving in Celebration Florida is like reading a good book. Each new chapter is an adventure to enjoy. Halloween in Celebration Florida is one of the most special of those chapters. Most full time residents decotrate their homes and welcome the little trick and treaters with open arms. The streets are transformed into walking thorofares of parents with children of all ages in tow.

Some homeowners like a little fright in their decor while others are less scary. Regardless, children from many communities come to Celebration Florida to partake in the fun. We had about 600 trick or treaters before we closed up shop. Entire families meet to walk together and will have as many as thirty in their party of family and friends. Block parties break out just because.

Now that the Halloween chapter is behind us we will move into the Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Christmas in Celebration Florida is like living a Currier and Ives painting. We even provide a snowfall every evening in the downtown area. Can't wait!
