Items for sale at SAS include interior and exterior doors, doorknobs, wood windows of various types and sizes, light fixtures, mantles, claw-foot tubs, sinks, countertops, cabinetry and more. Prices are affordable and payment can be made by cash or check.
SAS is the Preservation Trust's way to divert reusable materials from the landfills by accepting donations and salvaging from homes that are under restoration or soon to be demolished. The Trust is encouraging owners of historic homes to reuse materials purchased from SAS or donate what they do not want (donation list for accepted items available through the Trust). Artists may also find unique uses for the various items found at SAS.
Spartanburg Architectural Salvage is located at 307B West Main St. above Cohen's Closeouts in the Spartanburg Bonded Warehouse. It is open the 2nd Saturday of each month and by appointment.
