I bet most of us are overwhelmed with the multitude of Social Media outlets that we can sign up for. As far as I can remember it basically started with MySpace then moved onto Facebook and closely followed by Twitter. Now there is friendfeed, flickr, youtube, hi5, linkedin, tagged, digg and on and on.

My feelings are that I am going to only select a couple that I will use for connecting with friends and clients. Anymore than that would be suicide and I feel that if your true to your friends you won't leave them hanging waiting for a reply on a little used connection.

So, having said that I am trying to update twitter regularly (foundmyhome) and also my personal facebook page which is under deanbergstrom. Phase 1 Expansion Construction will be soon be starting.

The federal and provincial government are providing a $13.4 million dollar grant from the Building Canada Fund. This fund is to stimulate infrastructure building in communities. The expansion of the additional 136,000 sq ft will be completed in two phases. The first phase is to include the construction of two new ice pads, multi use areas, elevated walking track and a double gymnasium.

The funding provides that the project must be completed by March 31, 2011. Phase 2 will include an eight land pool. Just a note, the second phase does not qualify for the funding as it falls outside the project completion date. Milton just continues to grow and provide more activities and options to it's residents. It's a great place to live and work.

My favorite winter activity is skiing. I live about an 8 minute drive from the local ski hill here in the Milton area. It's located at the Kelso Conservation Area. The name of the resort is Glen Eden.

I grew up skiing here and when I was younger, if you were looking for me on a winters evening or on the weekend, you could find me at Glen Eden.

It's not a huge hill but for an evening out skiiing, now that I'm a little older it's great. It's also not too crowded in the early week evenings.

They are currently open and have a 50cm base with machine groomed powder and 12 of 12 runs and 5 of 5 lifts open. If you live close and love to ski it's worth the trip. Maybe I will see you on the slopes.

This is a task that becomes a duty. I have gone through this so I can speak first hand. Prior to getting into Rdal Estate I had a home to sell. I de-cluttered, cleaned, polished and painted and that was the easy part. If your home is on the market for any length of time (hopefully it will not be) then you have to continually ensure your home is ready for showings at any time.

So, to do this the easiest way. Put away things you don't use often and only bring them out when you need them then put them away again as soon as your done. Everyday before you go to work have a look around and make sure everything is tickety boo, ie: toilet seats down, dishes put away, counters clean, beds made, no unusual smells lingering around, and if you know there is going to be a showing, Lights ON. Yes, even during the day. I would not leave any candles burning if your not in the home unless the people coming to see your house are the fire department.

Mostly common sense and patience will get you through. Houses that are clean and show well should sell faster and hopefully for more money.
