The accredited staging class through StagedHomes.com was scheduled at my Bel Air, MD Keller Williams office. Since another storm is headed our way the class has been postponed. Your safety first!
It will be rescheduled for sometime in March 2010. We are also looking for a home that needs some staging help for us to practice on after our class. The instructor will be present to advise us. She will meet with your homeowner prior to the class to go over the details. This is a free service to your homeowner.
If you have a listing in the Abingdon, BelAir areas that needs a little help please contact me. It doesn't have to be a Keller Williams listing and you do not have to be enrolled in the class for us to use your listing. Last years home that we staged was listed by a ReMax agent. So this can be a win-win situation for all. If you are interested in having your listing considered for a complimentary staging in March 2010 please let me know. The home can not be vacant as we use the owner's existing furniture and items to re-stage their home. Looking forward to hearing from you and stay safe and warm!
I'M SO EXCITED I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT!
If you are like me you are counting down until you will no longer have to make the trip to Hunt Valley to shop at Wegmans. If you haven't heard the news let me tell you how excited I became when I heard! Wegmans Food Markets Inc. expects to sign a lease soon to anchor a planned 350,000-square-foot, mixed-use center at Emmorton and Woodsdale roads just north of Interstate 95. The store itself should be approxiately 120,000 to 140,000 square feet. Another really exciting fact is that this store will employee close to 600 people. That too will be great for our Harford County economy!
The store is not expected to open until 2011 but believe me if you have never visited a Wegmans before it will be sooooo worth your wait! If you want to visit one in the mean time you can make the trip to Hunt Valley! I'll keep you updated on the progress of this store when developing begins.
WEGMANS! WEGMANS! WEGMANS! WEGMANS! WEGMANS! WEGMANS! WEGMANS! WEGMANS!
StagedHomes.com, an Accredited Staging Professional organization came to the Bel Air office of Keller Williams American Premier Realty on Febraury 3-5, 2009 to hold a certification class for anyone interested in earning their ASP designation. People from as far away as New Jersey, Delaware, and Virginia made their way here for the class. Realtors from all over the county were invited as well as individuals who wanted to earn their staging designation.
According to Barb Schwarz, the founder of HomeStaged.com, Home Staging is the very best proven way to get top dollar for your home as you prepare it for sale. Homes that are Staged with an ASP Professional Home Stager sell faster and for more money! This is because Staging sets the scene throughout the house to create immediate buyer interest in your property. This will then lead to your home selling for the highest possible price in today's market. Remember, "The way you live in your home, and the way you market and sell your house are two different things."
In today's real estate market it takes some creativity to get your home sold in the shortest amount of time for the most money. Statistics show that in today's market 94.6% of ASP Staged Homes sell on average in 35 days or less. "Your Investment in ASP Home Staging will always be less than your first Price Reduction" - Barb Schwarz, The Creator of Home Staging.
Did you know that because of this class Keller Williams American Premier Realty now has the most Realtors holding the designation of Accredited Staging Professional-Realtor (ASP-RE) in their office than any other Harford County real estate office. I am proud to say I am one of the ASP-RE Home Stagers. I would love to assist you to set the stage to make your home stand out amoung the vast competition in today's market. Now don't get so excited about the circus being in town; I didn't say the Big Top, I said the Big TARP! Forest Hill's old "C-Mart" building remains empty no more!!! In its place is a huge indoor flea market with over 35,000 square feet of space and an absolute auction center.
The Flea Market is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8AM to 4PM. With over 130 vendors, there is a mini-mart, toys, collectibles, sports memorabilia and so much more. New items and new vendors are added each and every week. Spaces are still available for vendors who would like to sell their wares.

The live absolute auctions open at 2:00 pm every other Wednesday and begin at 4:00 pm. The next absolute auction is scheduled for February 4, 2009. Consignments are currently being accepted for the auctions on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. For additional information call 443-823-1545.
For the many new comers to Harford County, the "C-Mart" building (which is how it will be known forever) is located at 1503-11 Rock Spring Road in Forest Hill.
In these economic times everyone is trying to save some money. Bargains are there to be found. So this is a great place to venture to. I will be at the February 4 auction. How about you???????
If I may assist you or anyone you know with Real Estate questions or needs, please don't hesitate to contact me directly at 410-375-9977. Thanks, Deanna Zaganas
