Transition from Exit Elite Realty to Coldwell Banker DiTommaso Realty

I recently moved from Exit Elite Realty to Coldwell Banker DiTommaso Realty and what a huge difference it made. Sometimes a company can be a good company and do well for other agents but not for yourself. I did not find myself thriving or excelling to a higher level there for some reason and it was causing me to lose focus of what was really important in life and not the minor things that was dragging me down. I decided to take a different path in life and start new and fresh. Sometimes you look back at the progress you made and realize you were alot further along the year before. It takes a big person to realize and admit they have not done as good as they should have and start to make changes to better themselves and work harder to get to where they need to be. I am really glad I made the move and I am seeing such a big difference already. I think better things are coming and I look forwarding to my new endeavor.

Buyers Market

It is still a buyers market but at least now more buyers are looking at houses than before (edit/delete) We all know that the economy was severely damaged by the way everything was handled with the banks and all the foreclosures going on everywhere but I noticed a change in the last few weeks with the amount of buyers that have been contacting me to look and start buying houses again. The buyers are finally comfortable with coming out to see houses again and banks are finally giving out the loans more freely now too! It will take about a year or more to get out of this economic crisis is what everyone is predicting and has been predicting for montths now. I am seeing a slight difference with the buyers side of it. The homeowners are still hesitant though to list and still think their house is worth more than we show them its worth. The sellers are still in denial and trying to sell their homes on their own and wasting more time than necessary and with all the foreclosures going on you would think they would want the Real Estate to step in to speed up the process of selling their house but homeowners still won't budge. Anyone have any advice on how to crack the ice with the homeowners and easing their mind about listing their house and getting them to believe the value of their house is really as low as we say?

Transitioning from One Real Estate Company to Another

Transitioning from One Real Estate Company to Another (edit/delete) I found out that the transitions between Real Estate companies as not as hard as it seems. I just moved from Robert DeFalco Realty to Exit Elite Realty and I jumped right back into it! It took a little time but bigger is not always better.. I am learning a lot more now than I did before. My new Broker and Associates have been great in welcoming me with open arms and all greeted me and said Welcome to the Exit Family. If you are not happy where you are and want to make the move but are just nervous about it, I say go for it!! You will be glad you did.. Just make sure you do all your research first to see if it is a company that has more to offer you and room for advancement. Because a company that has no room for advancement is not a long term company and you will find yourself looking to change companies again in the future... You learn as you go so make the best of it.. Have a great night everyone. Best wishes to you all and have a very productive week!!!

Selling a House

07-16-10

The right time to sell your house!!! (edit/delete) There seems to be a lot of confusion as to when is the right time to sell a home? I know there has been talk about the winter time is the slowest time and houses don't sell but in reality the houses are still selling now as they were before. I have had the same amount of listings sell now than they did last year right before the holidays. The market has come around so that there are more buyers and more houses selling even in this bad economy than when the economy was great! At least we know. the buyers that are out there looking now are the serious buyers and need to buy now or they would not be looking in the freezing cold weather and they would be waiting for the spring weather to start looking again... All houses do sell when they are priced right!!! Some sellers still believe that there house is worth more than others because of certain extra momentos or priceless items put in but in actuality the house is still worth the same amount that the house down the street is going for without the few extra features. In some cases its worth a little bit more but not that much more that it would make a tremendous difference on the list or sale price.. The buyers just need to be educated and brought up to speed on the whole listing process and how to choose a list price and the selling process on how to keep from losing a deal over 5,000 to 10,000 dollars. we seem to have this alot lately when putting the deals together... I hope all this info helps a lot of people and I hope all the agents that read this and have been through this themselves can agree with me and know what I am talking about... Have a great day everyone and good luck with all your deals and sales.... for more information or to see houses, Please feel free to visit my website at www.debbieromeo.com or call me on my cell anytime with questions at 1-646-578-1355.
