Another solid week of sales in Lake Mary, I have noticed this week that there is little variance in the listing price to sold prices. The homes that sold this week all sold within 5% of their list price. This tells me that sellers are becoming more realistic with their offering prices... Stay tuned to see if this trend continues.

This is the weekly update of homes sales (townhomes & condominiums too) for Sanford Florida. The "Just Sold" Sanford Florida Update includes the zip codes of 32771 & 32773.
Sanford, Florida is located on the shores of Lake Monroe and is just 20 minutes from Downtown Orlando.
This week there were 9 single family home sales in Sanford. The most notable sale was in Buckingham Estates in the Markham Woods Corridor. 6209 Hedgesparrows Lane was on the market for 11 days, considerable less time than the average 120 market days that most Seminole County homes sell in. This home was not a short sale or foreclosure, it was a "standard" sale. What I find most interesting about this home is that there are less expensive homes with the same square footage for sale in Buckingham Estates, but the quality and condition of this home was appreciated by a buyer who realized that there is more to a good deal than a "lower" price. I'm Celebrating.... The 1st Anniversary of The Lake Mary Farmer's Market and my first post. Just over a year ago I finally felt like I was ready to write my first post, I had been lurking around reading for months on Active Rain, but wasn't ready to jump in. I'm so glad that I did with my First Post about the "New" Lake Mary's Farmer Market...
Participating in the open forum of Active Rain has been a wonderful experience for me and I've met a lot of great new people along the way.
Thank you Active Rain for providing a place for all us to learn and grow in... It's great to be in the rain.
This post still rings true today and the Farmer's Market has been a huge success!
The City of Lake Mary is set to debut their deeply anticipated Farmer's Market on Saturday, November 10, 2007. I've attended the highly regarded Winter Park Farmer's Market for years and I am really looking forward to this new venue.
I've always found the "freshest" fruits and vegetables are those that come from local growers. There is nothing better than a fresh picked tomato sliced up with a dash of salt and pepper.
