Visitors from around the world join us for the sounds of big band music, delicious food, children playing in the park and talented artists from all over the world join and create a relaxed atmosphere for the entire family. Each year, the Festival grows! The big Camelot style tents surround the lake and the lights' reflection on the lake shows the peaceful, still waters as you listen to the sounds of music and children's excitement as they have their faces painted or enjoy the magic show! Over 100,000 visitors are expected at the annual event this year and over 150 artists and craftsmen and women will proudly display their talent. Each year, I manage to find many items that I just can't chose from and find many gifts for my family and friends here. You can't find the talent that you find here anywhere else either! The scents of food fill the air as you walk the sidewalk surrounding the lake, stopping along the way to see the clown show, listen to your favorite new up and coming musician and purchase the hottest new artist's work! There are clown stages, magician stages, musician stages and little shops along your path. Even going around the lake for a second round is expected at Festival in the Park Charlotte NC! Voted as a BEST 200 Festival by Sunshine Artists Magazine, this is a wonderful event for all ages is fun, educational, and it's free! You can't beat that! 45th FESTIVAL IN THE PARK
