Busy but Not too Busy....Such a Fine Line
Interesting conversation today with a couple of clients...
It is pretty common for me to get phone calls from previous clients...
With over 17 years of Real Estate experience ....you can imagine that I have many previous clients I am still in contact with ...
Whether it be on the phone or running into them around Nampa Idaho...
Today caught me a bit off guard...
First was a phone call from a gentleman who I sold a home to about 2 years ago.....His comment was "I know you were busy last time I talked to you ..... do you have time to meet with us..."
Needless to say I was thrilled to hear from him .... with life changes he may need to sell now... and yes I do have time for him....
I next visited a wonderful little place that I like to go and relax at. The owner of the shoppe had mentioned in a Facebook chat that she was in the process of moving....and that things were hectic....
I asked her if they had a Realtor.....she said no....that she had mentioned it to her Folks but didn't know if I was to busy to help them....and that she would have them call to talk to me about the house hunting tools I have available to Buyers in the Nampa Area
Yikes....2 in one day.
Business is great in my area....and yes I am busy....
BUT I am never to busy to help a client out.... whether they are a new to me client or a previous client that needs to do some thing different.
As a Realtor I wear many hats....they all keep me very Busy.....hence the nick name BZYBEE.....but I will always rearrange my schedule of Busy-ness to show property or to do a Market Analysis so a client can sell their home.
Referrals and People are my Job.....
Some times we get mired up in paperwork or online Social Media....
Yes that is important but People are more important to me....
And .....No I am not to Busy for You!!!!

March 1.....In like a Lion....and
we are Hoping Out Like a Lamb....
As many of you, we have had a very mild winter...
But alas...it is March 1st....
And living up to the saying....In Like a Lion...and out like a Lamb...
In Nampa Idaho we woke up to snow....
And now it is snowing harder than when I took the first picture...
But the snow should let up by 11 am....
according to our local weathermen who are always right!!!
I will admit that I don't mind a bit of snow....it is actually pretty...and a bit of a novelty as Nampa only gets 10-12 inches of precipitation per year....
I just don't like dealing with other drivers out there.....who don't know how to drive in the snow!!!
I am looking forward to the spring weather ...and all of the spring flowers....
So here is hoping that the Lamb chooses to come visit us sooner than later!!!
We have places to show and people to meet to sell Real Estate in
Nampa Idaho
Happy March 1st everyone!!!
(You know you are addicted to Blogging when the first thing you think when you see the snow is .... where is the camera? I have a great idea for a blog) LOL
Many folks are already getting tired of all the campaign
commercials....
debates and media promotions for the upcoming presidential nominations....
I know I am!!!
Also many of us are confused and don't seem to have a clear
cut vision of who we should vote for.
In Idaho we have changed our format this year...
Used to be that voters voted in May every year....
Not a problem for local races...
But most of the time the field was pretty much narrowed and
Idaho votes in the Primary for Presidential candidates were very limited...
Some even felt that we really didn't have a say in the process...
Now we will be doing things differently and we will hold a Caucus on Tuesday March 6 2012!
This will be a new process for many in Idaho....
and it should be interesting!
Having a hard time deciding who you might want to vote for?
Here is a Quiz I found that may make things a bit easier for all of you .....
Click Here and take the quiz.....I did and although I didn't truly agree with my results...
I was able to better define in my mind was is really important to me in a candidate....
I have always felt it is very important to vote....
I don't really care who you vote for....but vote....
If you don't then I don't believe you have a right to complain!!!
Let me know what you think!!!!
The sky fell today....well actually it was just the
very much anticipated snow...
From our office we can see the remnants of the storm this afternoon.
Here in the Treasure Valley we had got no snow
to speak of in a long time.....
since December 2010!!!
Doesn't do much for those that sell snow shovels....
In Nampa we only get an average of 12 inches of precipitation per year....
That is part of why we are referred to as the Treasure Valley...
We have all 4 seasons and other than very hot summers our temperatures are pretty mild.
We got good news that Bogus Basin Ski Resort will be opening tomorrow...
I think that the Louder for Powder fundraiser worked....
(actually it was tonight and the snow started falling this morning!!)
We were predicted to have got between 4-8 inches of snow during this storm...
I know for many of you out there this is small potatoes...
But it is pretty big out here...
They showed folks at the local WinCo foods stocking up on groceries and supplies...
A lot of us didn't believe we would get that much....
But we did...some where between 4-6 inches
Schools closed early and Churches advised their members to stay home tonight.
Right now it is raining but it is supposed to snow
all through the night....
mixed with a bit of rain.
The roads may be icy and slick tomorrow morning...
All I can say is be careful....
Drive Smart...and that means if you are not
comfortable on the roads...
Maybe consider not driving in the snow...
Save your nerves and others around you ...
If you do drive...
Allow plenty of time to get where you are going...
And remember it isn't a race to see who can go the
fastest either!!!
Be safe...
And go and make a Snow Angel if you have time!!!
