Dee Nofziger, Toledo OH Real Estate

Quote of the Day from Toledo Ohio

"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain".

weathering the storm

Don't you just love it?! I can remember as a kid running outside when the warm summer showers would come, right before the clouds turned dark and thunder filled the skies.

This quote reminds me of that ... plus after the storms pass and you've weathered them all, what do you usually get ... a rainbow! A gift straight from God.

Ohio Lenders are Lending Homebuyers MONEY! Really!

Just read a blog post by one of my favorite Bloggers, Jim Crawford, in Georgia. Thought I would share the link that he provided.

Before you panic, though, please note that I could not find an Ohio bank on this list since 2002! So don't forget - Ohio lenders ARE LENDING HOMEBUYERS MONEY! Really! They are! You just have to be credit-worthy, not have too many debts, and have a nominal 3 1/2% down payment for an FHA loan.

Call me if you fit the above criteria - there's NEVER been a better time to buy a home!

Per the FDIC website, "The FDIC is often appointed as receiver for failed banks. The link below contains useful information for the customers and vendors of these banks. This includes information on the acquiring bank (if applicable), how your accounts and loans are affected, and how vendors can file claims against the receivership. Failed Financial Institution Contact Search displays point of contact information related to failed banks."

This list includes banks which have failed since October 1, 2000.
