Delaware Mortgage Rates improved slightly today Tuesday October 20, 2009 based on the reading on inflation coming out better than expected. Next month's number for inflation will probably much worse than expected because oil has hit almost $80 a barrel and the dollar is very weak against other currencies. This is all inflationary which is bad news for mortgage rates next month. This all means now is the best time to refinance your current mortgage or to buy a new home.

Delaware Mortgage Rates were pretty stable today after rising last week from historic lows. Rates are still low but won't be for long. Inflation is starting to be a problem on the horizon which will be a factor to cause rates to rise. The Feds are scaling back the purchase of mortgage backed securities and will be done buying mortgages in March of 2010. The scaling back has already caused less demand in the bond market which is one of the factors for rates rising.
If you are looking to buy or refinance a home in Delaware, now is the time to get a very low rate. Predictions are for rates to be in the 6s by the new year.

The mortgage rates for Delaware ended the day a little worse because of a rallying stock market. The stock matket topped 10,000 for the first time since last October. This pulled money from the bond market which caused Delaware Mortgage Interst Rates to rise. Rates are still very low and close to the lowest rates ever.
The Federal Chairman Ben Bernanke said last Friday rates are as low as they are going to go and will rise thru out the rest of the year. This means now is the time to refinance or purchase a home in Delaware to take advantage of record low interest rataes.
