Easy To Make Lollipop Valentine's Day Roses

You'll Need
wrapped heart shaped lollipops
green chenille stems
scissors
Directions
Start at the top of the lollipop stick, tightly wrap the chenille stem in
a coil around the lollipop stick. Cut off reaming pieces of chenille
about 3 inches. Twist the small piece of the chenille around the
stem where you want the flower leaves to be. Then shape the
leaves and twist to secure. If you want to add a name tap or note,
cut a piece of paper and make a hole with a hole punch. Secure the
note onto the smaller piece of chenille before twisting into the leaf shape.
Use tissue paper and ribbon to make a sweet bouquet!

Who would have ever thought that our small town that started out growing Potatoes would end up with a winery. Could we be the next Paso Robles? Only time will tell but from my view it is a good possibility!
Tuscany in Tehachapi hangs over the door to our very own Tasting Room. As you enter through the doors of Souza Family Vineyards Tasting room you are surrounded by wonderful wine and accessories. There is a bar to sit at for your tasting or you may choose to sit at a round table or comfy chairs. You may also choose to sit outside for the beautiful views of the Mountains, valley or vineyards. The relaxing atmosphere gives you many chooses to relax as you sit and enjoy your Tehachapi Wine.
Recently Souza Family vineyards received a phone call about winning there very first award for there 2005 Souza Primitivo. This wine won a silver at the San Francisco Chronicle's annual world-wide wine competition. It was in a class with over 4,235 wines from around the world. Unfortunately the 2005 wine is sold out! But you do have a chance to try the 2006 Souza Primitivo which I have tried and is a very light bodied wine with a very smooth taste.
The winery just held it's ribbon cutting on July 2nd and was open for tastings over the 4th of July weekend!
If you would like to come for a tasting of Tehachapi's own Wine visit them at

If you are going to be traveling through the kern county this weekend you should stop by Tehachapi. Our Main street program will be hosting our first International Chili Society Chili Cookoff. There will be cooks from all over the state (with 3 champions in the mix) and local chili cooks. Besides the chili you can stop by to ride the 25-foot ferris wheel, check out the gun fights or maybe you would like the sports car show.
I'm so excited to take my family to this event there is so much to do!
I almost forgot there will be live music all day next to the beer booth and BBQ Vendor. I hear the BBQ is great! Here in Tehachapi we have a wonderful mix of music that will keep your foot tapping all day long!
So if you find yourself driving on the 58 Fwy you should pull off and stop downtown (you can't miss the ferris wheel) and join us for some hometown fun!

Are you about to make a move to Edwards Air Force Base? Not sure where to live? Well you are in luck there are many community's to choose from. There is a place for everyone!
Desert or Mountains, Snow or Rain, City or Suburbs?
There is a lot to research on where you are going to call home when you relocate to Edwards Air Force Base. I plan on helping you with that by giving you information and local websites for the surrounding communities. I've lived near Edwards Air Force Base my whole life and have a pretty good understanding of the area. During High School and College I worked on base and today my mother is still working there along with many friends. With my knowledge I'm sure we can find the perfect community for you and your family.

I'm currently living in Tehachapi but I am also able to sell Real Estate in Palmdale, Lancaster, Rosamond, Boron, Mojave and California City. Most of the community's are 40 minutes or less to the gates of Edwards AFB. I will blog to you about all of the following community's and if you have a question feel free to email me or just call.
