Hey you guys we here in Canada just re-elected a good old conservative government( probably left of your democrats.)So we will cruise along politically correct and safe and sound in our usual fence sitting role.Can you believe there was a bigger interest in your race than ours.Probably due to the fact we had the worst Liberal leader of the opposition, in Canadian history. A goof that you would not believe could even run for the local village council.So nobody gave a shit and glued themselves to the anti Republican media in your neck-o-the-woods. Yes it was blatent from this writers point of view as well.Especially that idiot Wolf Blitzer on CNN.What an A hole he is!! We are very interested in the results since you guys are our biggest trading partners.I thnik that puffed up he hawing Obama is going to be a disaster.I realise the package is rather lame , so he'll probably win.God help us all, if he screws up the nafta agreement as he has promised to do.How does the everyday american view this election.Love to hear my good neighbour's comments on this great,if not misguided moment in our repective histories.Please let me know how you really feel, so that I can insulate myself against the coming storm.David.

Perhaps you good folks can help me with a site, Ideas,etc to ontain buyer or seller leads.Conventional ads here in Toronto cost a fortune and the papers or magazine ads progressively get worse.This is not only due to the world financial crisis, because this has been getting progressively worse over the last few years.The reason of course is because clients these days expect instant gratification.Subsequently, the web is where 85% of them now go.Apart from the freebies like craigs List, Kijiji etc., do any of my good neighbours down there have any ideas how I can get kick started again? I would really, be most grateful if you guys have any ideas I can implement at a reasonable cost. Thanks again and anticipate some of your brilliant suggestions.David Hemmings.

Wow, interest rates dropped!!Here in Canada they never went up , our economy is still #1 in the world(bragging rights, to counter the cold!!)surprise! With Steven Harper our conservative prime minister heading to be re-elected, things are looking up.Property values increased a little last month, but anything is better than a drop.Hope you guys regroup rapidly and the Sun breaks out again.Watch those bank execs though, have stronger regulation and no pork barrelling this time around.We, I think survived this downturn rather well because of our strict lending regulations, and some good government.So good luck in your elections a difficult decision to make down there I guess.I have every hope and faith in the stickability of our good neighbour to the south and know all will be well again.Thanks to all of you good folk who read my first attempts at a blog and welcomed me into the Active rain family. .....who is a swimmer? I didn't mention it my first blog, but I would like to meet anybody who is into competitive swimming, as I am.I am Presently working like a madman 3 times a week in the gym on weights and swimming lengths 3 times a week.I hope to be well prepared in having a go at the Canadian 100 metres freestyle and backstroke records for my age group in the Masters Games.Anyone out there competing?Anyway for a Real Estate man, I'll probably talk a lot about my current abilities in other adventures and endeavours ,than my incredible ability to take care of my clients and also my consistent hunt for new ones.However if anybody wants to know about Toronto real Estate, I'm the man.Thanks to those guys who already have welcomed me to this medium that frankly, I know not much about.
