Global warming is here to stay.

If you are worried about global warming, then buy real estate here in Redding, California. Right now real estate here is really cheap and if you buy quickly and strategically, then perhaps you too can find the optimal beach front property here. Our altitude is about 450 feet above sea level and so if you listen to the meteorological "experts", then that should be in about 20 to 30 years from now.

Now I live in Redding but I lived in Germany for 20 years and I still own a house there at an elevation of 2340 feet. Every single winter I was always so happy about global warming because I had something for which to look forward. This was especially true when I had to shovel all of that snow off of my driveway. I would regale all of my neighbors about how good it was going to be when we finally had beach front property. They usually found it amusing. I promised them--having been born and raised in Southern California--that I would teach them how to surf and body surf.

Just think if you buy well, then maybe you could wind up selling your next property to the likes of Hilton, Marriott or the Hyatt Regency. You could be one of those cashing in on the global warming hysteria and not just Al Gore and his syndications. Don't buy up those carbon offsets from companies that plant in the middle of the Sahara desert about one square meter of grass because remember you want the beach front property higher up.

I have to admit that I have always wanted to be able to lay under swaying palms on the beach in December with my mai-tai in one hand and the saltwater waves lapping at my feet and with the cool tropical breezes caressing my suntanned body in Denver, Colorado or Calgary, Canada.
