Monday Mater Motivation ~ Carroll County, Maryland
When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning,
by dreams that need completion,
by pure love that needs expressing,
then we truly live life.
~ Greg Anderson
I was going through some pictures I took earlier this year and I found this one of Mater at just 3 months old. Watching him learn and grow into my loving companion this year has been amazing.

Top 4 on My Winterizing Honey Do List ~ Carroll County, Maryland
1. Clean out those gutters & check down spouts - To prevent ice damning which
leads to water seeping back into the house
2. Turn off hose bibs & drain the lines - To prevent pipes from bursting and possibly water leaking into your basement and causing damage to the walls, insulation, personal items and more.
3. Reducing air leaks - Check windows, doors for tight seals, around plumbing pipes and electrical wires to keep your heating funds from slipping right back out the cracks, weak seals and holes.
4. Reverse your ceiling fans - Push the warm air from the ceiling down into the living space where your loved ones are.
If you’d like to do more to save money this winter how about a Home Energy Audit ? You can do it yourself or hire a professional. After the audit tips to fix the most common problems.

Wordless Wednesday ~ Picture Perfect! Baltimore County, Maryland
Any day is a good day for a home inspection, this one was exquisite! The temperature was a about 65, headed for 70. The squires were busy preparing for the long cold winter weather ahead. The air was filled with the amazing fragrance of fur trees and the sounds of people working hard to clear their roofs of leaves and limbs that will surely choke those gutters and cause big problems in the months ahead.
