About Us:

I am a full time Realtor and am one member of The Main Sail Team. I cover the entire Tampa Bay area, but mostly St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, and nearby beach and waterfront communities.

If you were to talk to any of my past clients, they would tell you that I will work equally hard whether you are a buyer or seller. I will stay on top of every contract right up to the closing table.

I have lived in St. Petersburg for over forty years so I am very familiar with most of the neighborhoods from Old Northeast splendor to the downtown Revival to the many waterfront communities that surround this area.

I represent both buyers and sellers and give 100% of my time, energy, and ability. I have been a realtor for over 10 years, and I am a member of the Pinellas Realtor Organization, the Florida Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

There is in house-mortgage which is a big asset in getting pre-approved for a loan, and the first step needed on the road to new homeowner. I are also familiar with many of the down-payment assistance programs that are available for all homebuyers, depending on your occupation and income.

We recently bought our home through our agent, Diane Oakes. She was a tremendous help in this complicated matter. She was able to explain everything to us as first time home buyers on a level which we could understand and helped to make the experience a pleasant one. Diane showed us homes outside of her county up to 40 miles away from her office, in the rain, and at unusual times without a complaint. Even after our first home did not appraise, she was willing to continue the search process. Shortly, thereafter we found another home which went to contract. Unfortunately, the home inspection resulted in a recommendation that the roof be replaced. Diane managed to negotiate for the seller to put a new roof on without cost or inconvenience to us. At closing, she followed by paying for one-half a home warranty to erase our first year transition to home ownership. Our positive experience with Diane has totally impressed us. We would like to recommend our real estate agent, Diane Oakes. When our condo at Town Apartments burned down, Diane was successful in finding us another condo in just a few days. Luckily, it was furnished because our possessions were destroyed in the fire. Diane even made a special trip to Tampa where we were temporarily staying with our daughter to secure our signatures. She also accompanied us to the application meeting for membership to the Condo Association and paid our fee. After the meeting, we discovered a flat tire on our car. Diane called AAA and even though our membership had been destroyed in the fire, she managed to have a towing service repair the flat and waited with us until the tow truck arrived. Our positive experience with Diane has totally impressed us, and we appreciate everything she has done and would recommend her to friends and family.
