Dumpster trailer loading tips

Enter thru the rear door and load front to back. From the very start break the breakable down and try to stack as flat as possible. Heavier objects should be kept low and loaded evenly over axle(s) or slightly toward the front of the trailer. Loading the heavier objects towards the rear will make the trailer back heavy and will make the trailer tend to sway while being towed. Loading heavier objects on top for one is difficult to do and if accomplished will make the trailer top heavy and easier to tip over in a curve while being towed. Either condition is dangerous for the driver and anyone on the road around them. Being rear heavy can also make it difficult to hook the trailer back up to the tow vehicle since the tongue will not want to come down onto the hitch while the jack is being lowered. I call this the "pop a wheelie" effect.

Got Junk? Thinking of renting a dumpster? Make sure you ask about extra weight charges!.Most of the larger rental companies out there will charge you extra without hesitation if you are even slightly overweight.Chances are you put the cost of the rental on your credit card and they will add to it.If you paid by check or cash and choose to not pay the extra fee you could wind up in court or with a lein on your property.Want to avoid this risk??? Call Discount Hauling. We are a smaller company and don't really worry about an extra ton that might cost us 20 bucks to get rid of.Deal one on one with an owner who cares.Visit us on the web at www.DiscountHaulingLLC.com
