Downtown Roundabout Delray Beach Free Shuttle

The City of Delray Beach offers a FREE Shuttle Throughout Downtown Delray moving downtown transportation to a higher level. The Shuttle Bus does two different routes 7 days per week / 365 days per year. Their schedule may be altered during special events and Special event routing can be found in event publications. Route 1 - Tri Rail to the Beach ( 4.1 miles ) 30 minute schedule

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 8 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 8 pm

Sunday: Noon - 8 pm

Route 2 - Delray Beach Public Library to the Beach ( 2.1 miles) 20 minute Schedule

Monday - Saturday : 10 am - 8 pm

Sunday : Noon - 8 pm

Welcome to Delray Beach

The Free Downtown Roundabout accommodates commuter travel to and from work, works in conjunction with special events, and accommodates out of area visitors. It is a great service for businesses, employees, potential customers and residents.

Some of their Rules and Regulations:

No smoking, no pets and animals ( with the exception of service animals).

Bicycles: Bicycles are allowed and must be placed on the rack on the front of the shuttle by the owner.

Lost Items: If you lose and item on a downtown Shuttle, call their lost and found information number 561-243-7000.

City of Delray Beach Neighborhood Center

The City of Delray Beach offers a Neighborhood Center with great and useful information to communities and residents. The Delray Beach Neighborhood Resource Center is located at 141 SW 12th Avenue and houses a number of public service agencies to help communities and residents in various ways.

I visited the Neighborhood Center this past August 03rd, 2009 and was greeted with great attention. The Center is opened Mondays through Fridays from 8:30AM - 6:00PM, phone number 561-243-7629. City of Delray Beach Neighborhood Center

Among others, at the Delray Beach Neighborhood Resource Center, you can find information about The United Way Prosperity Office, The Community Land Trust, The Coalition For Community Renewal, Caring Kitchen of C.R.O.S Ministries, Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, Housing Information, United Way of Palm beach County...

Homeowners Associations and Community Organizations are encouraged to visit the Neighborhood Center and to hold meetings there, taking advantage of their available computer terminals.

The United Way Prosperity Office offers Free tax return preparation, credit counseling, money management and budget development, educational and career counseling, work certified training, homebuyer education and other family support services. City of Delray Beach The Community Land Trust is moving from their offices at the CRA and relocation to the Neighborhood Resource Center. The mission of the Community Land Trust is to acquire properties and hold the land in a public trust to build and provide affordable housing. The Coalition for Community Renewal, with offices at the Neighborhood Resource Center, is a liaison between the community and the Delray Beach Police Department and the City Hall. The Coalition for Community Renewal works hand-in-hand with the Youth Vocational Charter School, Goodwill, Carver Kids of Character, CLASS ( Children Learning in After School Sessions) of Palm Beach County and conducts the Youth Crime Prevention Summit. Carin Kitchen of C.R.O.S. Ministries are also represented at the center to assist clients in becoming self-sufficient.This organization offers ongoing services by providing assistance in applying for health care district, social security retirement/disability claims/SSI claims, emergency funds for housing ( EFFAHP), food stamps, and rental/utility assistance ( limited). A1ARIDERS.COM A CLYCLING CLUB IN DELRAY BEACH

A1Aride.com also know as A1Ariders.com is a cycling club created on July 2007 in Delray Beach Florida with the purpose of promoting road cycling to riders living in Palm Beach and Broward County, promoting cycling events all around Florida.

Currently, there are 345 A1Ariders, and the group have promoted so far 244 rides. Most of its rides leave from Linton Blvd in Delray Beach, riding along A1A heading either North to Palm Beach or South to Fort Lauderdale.

The group also promote charity rides throughout Florida, the biggest happens on May in Key Largo and is in pro of the MS Society, donating funds to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Other promoted rides include:
